The Sunshine State is home to a variety of places to go, things to do, and dive sites to explore. Florida isn’t just the house of mouse (aka Disney World), there are plenty of options available whether it’s outdoor fun like fishing, diving or lobstering, shopping for high fashion in South Florida, visiting the country’s oldest city, St. Augustine, or just relaxing on the beach. And don’t forget about the Keys and Key West! Florida has been our home for over 20 years, so there’s not much we haven’t seen – feel free to ask!
Where to Stay
Florida plays home to the most embarkation port options. You have your choice of Port Everglades/Fort Lauderdale, the Port of Miami, Port Canaveral/west of Orlando, the Port of Tampa and the Port of Jacksonville. Port Everglades and Miami are the largest of all and offer options from budget to luxury cruises and everything in between. Besides being your port of embarkation and debarkation, they’re also all areas worthy of vacations just by themselves!
Hotel and resort options are numerous in Florida. Whether you’re looking for a way to speed up your access to the magic of Disney and Universal Studios or wanting to unwind in the calm panhandle towns of Destin or Panama City Beach or even watching all those hot bodies along South Beach, there’s guaranteed to be a place to call your temporary home for your stay.
